About me – Been there, done that!

I have walked to school bare foot in Auckland;

I have spent my birthday countdown watching the Effiel Tower glittering away;

I have watched the sunset in Santorini 7 days in a row;

I have tasted snail soup in the Djemaa of Marrackech;

I have been horse riding on a rainy day in Reykjavík;

I have eaten pizza alone in Florence;

I celebrated my first white Christmas in Houston;

I have ridden a bicycle around the fields of Shangri-la;

I have skied at The French Alpes;

I have sighted the tallest summit in the world on the Tibet side;

I have celebrated New Years Eve count down at an international church in Tokyo;

I have gotten a tan by day and partied hard at night on the island of Mykonos;

I have dived at the Greet Barrier Reef and touched a fish half the size of me;

I have walked on the Great Wall of China on the same day Obama did;

I have swum in Wakiki beach with fishes along side;

I have ridden a camel in the Sahara desert;

I have ridden an elephant in Phuket;

I have white water rafted on the Yellow Stone River;

I have celebrated Australia Day watching fireworks set off on the Sydney Harbour Bridge;

I have sand surfed at Port Stephen and got sand all over;

I have shopped til my hands couldn’t carry anymore bags at Osaka;

I have received blown kisses by a passionate Italian guy at Pisa;

I have wined and dined at the most expensive restaurant in Budapest;

I have tasted Belgium waffles in Brussels on a third date;

I have sat down and cried on Coogee Beach;

I have slept in a 16 bed mixed dorm in Dublin;

Yet I’m still exploring life’s journey for adventures and answers.

    Interesting list. Actually it crossed my mind once to make such list, but it will probably be a to-do list, rather than been there list…

    Hey– sorry to post on your blog, didn’t know how to get a hold of you! I was just going through our subscribers, and wanted to let you know we’ve had a mini facelift on the blog, and I dread being a pain… but we switched from wordpress.com to wordpress.org which means— subscribers have to sign up again. I was suprised to find out there was no way to transfer over all of our current subscriptions! Boo. Anyways, we would love for you to continue following us.. if you don’t mind signing up one more time! Really like your theme, and the blog’s name, and content. Good stuff– just signed up to follow 🙂

    Thanks,

    Nicky & Rhys

    This is great; always good to remember how much you’ve achieved. I like how poetic you made it with the simple edition of the last line too. 🙂
